Our forecasts are regional. We very rarely mention any state by name, unless it is expected to see something different from the rest of the region. Check out the regional zones we cover on our long range weather forecast page.
We’ve been using the same formula for over 200 years based on math. As for the accuracy, readers claim we’re accurate about 85% of the time, which we think is pretty good. Even the best miss one on occasion! To learn more about how we predict the weather, visit our long range weather forecast page. Our forecasts cannot pinpoint the exact location of a tornado. Even the National Weather Service has difficulty doing that within a couple of hours, and our forecast is made more than two years in advance.
Unfortunately, we only provide predictions for the continental US and Canada.

All our planting information is based on phases of the Moon so it’s good across all growing zones, and therefore is “weather permitting.”
Website Related
Here’s a little secret: we hate ads too! Unfortunately they represent one of our largest sources of online revenue, so we have to rely on them to be able to feed our chickens. You can help though by signing up for a membership (where you’ll rarely see ads). The more people who sign up, the more that helps us reduce our dependency on internet advertising.
At the top of the article next to the social share icons, you will see an icon of a printer and a PDF icon. Click the printer icon to print, the PDF icon will convert to PDF that you can save to your hard drive.
Unfortunately no, many of the images we use are stock photography and require a subscription. You may however share our weather maps, provided you include the appropriate link back to our site.
You may use portions of our articles in your newsletter as long as you give us the proper credit and link back to all articles.
Online Memberships
Make sure you are using the exact password that was assigned to you when you received your welcome email. If you are still having issues, trying resetting your password. If you do not receive your password reset email, please check your spam/junk folder as they often end up there.
You can get started by logging in and visiting your dashboard. From here you will find the details of your membership, along with links to your 12 month weather forecasts, calendars, daily planner and our Farmhouse membership community. Be sure to bookmark them!
This can be for a variety of reasons, but the most common is a result of entering the wrong zip code or CVC security code as listed on your credit card. Try signing up again and carefully enter the correct payment information.
Your membership will renew automatically once a year unless you opted out at the time of purchase. You can toggle auto-renewal on or off at any time by clicking the “My Subscription” link located on your account page.
You can click here to quickly log out, though we strongly recommend you stay logged in so you can always see your premium calendars and content, as well as easily access your dashboard.
When you join our All-Access Membership Plan, you will be mailed the current edition of the Almanac at the time of your subscription/renewal date (not the new calendar year), unless you order during the months of June-July. During these months, we will hold your order until the new edition is ready, and then mail the newest edition to you before it hits the store shelves (early August). If you’ve signed up any other time of the year, your print edition should be received in 5-10 business days after you’ve signed up for All-Access.
If you signed-up for an online membership, you may cancel your Premium or All-Access membership by emailing [email protected]. Please note: To receive a full refund, you must cancel your PREMIUM membership within 3 business days of signing up. For ALL-ACCESS Membership, since we ship a printed copy of the Almanac to you, for a full refund you must request a cancellation and refund within 1 business day from signing up. (If you place your order on the weekend, you will have until 5pm Eastern Time on the following Monday to request a full refund.) If you cancel at any other time, we will not be able to refund your membership fees.
Unless you notify us 24 hours before your autorenewal is scheduled to charge, we cannot refund your money for autorenewals. Your membership will automatically continue and you authorize us to collect the applicable membership fees and any taxes using the payment we have on record for you. Email us at: [email protected]
Print Edition Related
Unfortunately we do not have a large print or hardcover edition at this time.
Unfortunately we no longer offer a printed version of the Canadian Farmers’ Almanac, however, we do have Canadian weather forecasts for the entire year on our web site. To access, simply become a member.

Newsletter / Email

We provide an unsubscribe link at the bottom of every newsletter we send out. Look for it there to immediately unsubscribe.
Make sure it’s not showing up in your junk/spam folder, as regularly sent emails can sometimes show up there. If you use Gmail, it may sometimes appear in the categories folder for “Promotions.” If you still cannot find it and are not getting any emails, give us a shout and we’ll check into it for you!
We never send more than one email a day depending on what list you are subscribed to, and we never send spam. If you are receiving promotional advertisements by email that have no content except for ads, it is definitely not coming from us. Look for the contact info at the bottom of such emails to find out where they are coming from and how to unsubscribe.
If you see a notification from us on your Android phone or on your Google browser, you may have seen what is known as a push notification. These notifications only appear if you opted in to receive alerts from our website directly. If you wish to turn these off, carefully follow the instructions at Google Support to disable notifications. Enlist the help of a tech-minded friend or relative if needed, as the instructions can be a little technical!
Social Media
There are a couple of things you can do to be sure you always see our posts in your Facebook news feed (Facebook doesn’t always deliver our posts to everyone a timely manner): Go to your Facebook settings (which can be accessed by the “down arrow” on the far top right of your desktop screen, to the right of the globe), and select “News Feed Preferences.” From there you can select “Prioritize who to see first.” You can also select the “follow” button on our Facebook page.

All orders are shipped within 2 to 3 business days of receipt of the order. Orders placed after 2 pm will be processed the next business day. In the event of a delay, we will notify you by e-mail.
Rush delivery is available to most destinations. At checkout you may select different levels of priority shipping and see the applicable charges calculated prior to finalizing your order. See Rush Shipping Charges and Options below.
Shipping charges below are based on standard U.S. Postal Service or UPS Ground Service rates. Orders are entered within 24 hours of receiving them (Monday through Friday). Ground orders can expect to be received within 7 to 10 business days.

We accept American Express, MasterCard, and VISA. Your credit card will not be charged until the item has shipped.
Yes. Our security system prevents unauthorized access to confidential information whether you are online or offline. We use state-of-the-art software to encrypt your credit card numbers and personal information automatically while they are in transit over the Internet, preventing a third party from viewing the information. Information access is restricted within our offices as well. Also, for security purposes, we do not keep a record of your credit card on file.

Items are shipped via U.S. Postal Service, UPS, and Federal Express. UPS and Federal Express do not deliver to P.O. Boxes. Please provide street address, or if using a rural route number, a complete address and the nearest crossroad. A phone number is required for rush delivery orders.
For standard delivery, please allow 7 to 10 business days for in-stock items to arrive. Orders placed by noon EST, Monday through Friday, can be shipped by rush delivery in 1 to 2 business days within the continental U.S. for an additional fee.
