Wet, cool air moves into southern Newfoundland. Labrador’s interior sees intensifying snow showers, especially around the 22nd–23rd.
24^th - 27^th
Very unsettled; showery/windy weather.
28^th - 31^st
A nor’easter brings heavy snow and winds to eastern Newfoundland. Labrador’s coast faces blizzard conditions, followed by clearing skies and a sharp freeze.

February 2026

1^st - 3^rd
Strong winds and snow squalls western Newfoundland, while Labrador’s coast braces for blizzard-like conditions. Inland areas remain bitterly cold.
4^th - 7^th
Cold, dry pattern sets in. Clear skies, cold for central Labrador. Brisk winds, light flurries eastern Newfoundland.
8^th - 11^th
Heavy snow and strong winds northern areas of the region.
12^th - 15^th
Moderating temperatures Western Newfoundland but quickly plunge by the 14th. Cold temperatures Labrador with patchy snow.
16^th - 19^th
Heavy precipitation and strong winds eastern Newfoundland, with coastal flooding possible. Wet snow and sleet for Labrador’s south coast.
20^th - 23^rd
Cold and snowy for most northern regions with cold but drier conditions in the south.
